ModelNorth Ventures is a sovereign AI infrastructure company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, providing AI-driven infrastructure and platform capabilities to government, enterprise, and defense clients across the GCC.
Scope
This policy applies to personal data we process through modelnorth.com and related subdomains, client-facing platforms and infrastructure we operate on behalf of clients (governed additionally by client-specific data processing agreements), and business communications (RFP submissions, contact forms, procurement correspondence). This policy does not apply to end-user data processed within client deployments — that data is governed by the relevant client agreement.
Data We Collect
Business contact data (name, title, organization, email, phone) for procurement/RFP correspondence and contract administration. Site usage data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for site security and analytics. Communications (email/form content submitted to us) for responding to inquiries. We do not collect special-category or sensitive personal data through this site. We do not sell personal data.
Legal Basis
We process personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data ("UAE PDPL"). Legal bases include legitimate business interest, contractual necessity, and consent where specifically obtained.
Data Residency
Client data is hosted in UAE-region cloud infrastructure. Data does not leave UAE/GCC jurisdiction at any processing stage unless specified in a client agreement. Government and defense clients receive contractual guarantees regarding data residency as part of their engagement terms.
Data Sharing
We do not share personal data with third parties except service providers under confidentiality/data processing agreements, where required by UAE law or a valid legal/regulatory request, or with client consent in the context of a specific engagement. We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.
Your Rights
Under UAE PDPL, individuals have the right to access their data, request correction, request deletion (subject to legal retention requirements), object to certain processing, and lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office. To exercise these rights, contact: privacy@modelnorth.com
